The development i had on WNW
We're not welcomed has been a personal project of mine for almost i think two years now.Most of the cast originated from a time in class where I was bored and needing oc ideas. At the time I was really into Objectified (which is what encouraged me to make this website as well as Hospital Hazard) so the designs actually used to be objects! Though over time they became humans which I preferred over the confusing need to explain how the object anatomy would work.Speaking of objectified most of the cast I drew weren't even meant to be in the WNW universe , They were all objectified oc's much akin to Dragonscale and her bandits-Evelyn being the leader.But later on I wanted it to be more..Unique. That's where WNW was created. I wanted it to be like those old 8-bit styled games like Andy's apple farm or such. I also wanted it to contain a vary of disturbing and real topics. Topics which were hard to listen to or talk about, but was the gruesome truth of how the world is.This whole project was created by the quote ;'When I was younger I used to fear ghosts, but now I understand humans are much more terrifying.'Or thats how i think it went lol
Why did i choose such topics for this project?
Most of the topics which are mentioned are quite hard ones for some readers.But the main point of choosing such topics was to amplify that quote, all of the spirits deaths were all done by not nature (such as disease) but they were all killed by the hands of others, people who they trusted - Family , friends. People who you wouldn't expect to be like that.Such as Romies death , killed by the hands of her own jealous brother. Things that happen to actual people.Most of my ocs deaths are meant to be repsentating things i feel like aren't talked about enough, such as Aiydens death. Aiydens death is meant to represent Rape in men and how it does happen to them. I see topics like that shut down by society too much so i thought representing it in ways like this was a good way - even if not many will be seeing this website or even reading this.Another one is probably Theos death. He dies in a school shooting which i feel like needs to be taken more seriously, you see way too many people joking and playing about with the topic of shootings and pretty much watering it down to a normal topic , where almost 330 people have died in them these past 20 years , doesn't seem that high right? But it shouldn't be happening at all, most School shooting occurrences are done by students who have been bullied in those schools , which that takes a big play in Theos backstory.

There was actually going to be another spirit in the series , it was inspired by one of my stuffed animals and was actually named after him! his name is scrimble. I scrapped it before I decided to do human designs so he was a big ol plush caterpillar , the ones from Argos in like 2019.I don't really remember much about him, more so the fact I knew his death was something about being gutted out. He was a cool character but didn't make the cut for some reason.In the original designs Sean actually used to be a moth bestial , he was a engineer for the bandit group. I prefer Seans old design compared to his newer one tbh i regret abandoning it TmT
